چکیده
In this paper a knowledge representation language is related to a framework of Formal Concept Analysis (FCA). A logical formalism has FCA contexts on its semantic side, and formal conceptual systems as proof theories. Agents are associated with (sets of) consistent sources of information, and every source gives rise to a single theory. A family of theories is formed and it is used to build a concept lattice over the theories. Such a concept lattice forms a single epistemic state that provides information on how the theories relate to each other, and how the state itself can be modiied to alternative epistemic states.

Improving Agent Performance for Multi-Resource Negotiation Using Learning Automata and Case-Based Reasoning
In electronic commerce markets, agents often should acquire multiple resources to fulfil a high-level task. In order to attain such resources they need to compete with each other. In multi-agent environments, in which competition is involved, negotiation would be an interaction between agents in order to reach an agreement on resource allocation and to be coordinated with each other. In recent ...
متن کاملFormal Specification of Reflective Agents
Many autonomous agents exhibit reflective behaviour: they not only reason about their own behaviour, but also about other agents' behaviour. To model and formally specify such behaviour requires a framework which provides constructs designed for this purpose. متن کاملLoad-Frequency Control: a GA based Bayesian Networks Multi-agent System
Bayesian Networks (BN) provides a robust probabilistic method of reasoning under uncertainty. They have been successfully applied in a variety of real-world tasks but they have received little attention in the area of load-frequency control (LFC). In practice, LFC systems use proportional-integral controllers. However since these controllers are designed using a linear model, the nonlinearities...
متن کاملOn Conceptual Design of Intelligent Mechatronic Systems
We have technology now to design networks of small intelligent units capable of competing and/or co-operating with each other on specified tasks and making decisions under conditions of uncertainty through a process of negotiation. In highly dynamic environments, such distributed systems are capable of achieving considerably better results in terms of performance/cost ratio and reliability than...
متن کاملConceptual reasoning - Belief, multiple agents and preference
One of the central issues in Arti cial Intelligence (AI) in general|and in the area of knowledge representation and reasoning in particular|is common sense reasoning. This includes logics of knowledge and belief, non-monotonic reasoning, truth-maintenance and belief revision. Within these elds the notion of a consistent belief state is the crucial one. Additionally, there is a growing interest ...
